MHS
"Movie Stars'" Page
(A
page for info and fun - we actually do have among our alumni successful,
professional actors. With their permission, we'll report on them on
another page.)
It turns out that many of our classmates played roles in major movies shot in
Spain during the early 1960's. If anyone has photos or memorabilia from
those movies, please send them in. We'll find as much information as we
can and post it.
Here are some of the movies our classmates "starred" in (had parts as
extras). There are more - which ones where they? This list is
incomplete - help us update it. We'll post as much info as we can about
where in the subject movies to find them.
"55
Days at Peking" Joe D.
"The
Battle of the Bulge" Chuck P., Sam G., et al. According to one
authoritative source, most of the people in the scene shot in the barn wherein
Henry Fonda finds a lost platoon are MHS'ers. Sam G. has a speaking role.
"Custer
of the West" Mary "the floozie" R. Our
authoritative source says Mary appears in a saloon scene and can also be found
in another scene shot dead out in the Old West main street.
"King
of Kings" Sam S. was an extra in "King of Kings," wearing a
terrycloth robe and yelling (along with the mob) "Crucify him!"
She says she had a crush on Jeffery Hunter for years after that.

"found" classmate Doug N.
